I spent thirty years in management for a real-estate company — dozens of apartment complexes, thousands of units, and a whole lot of straight talk and problem solving. I was the one who knew the numbers cold and told people the truth, and I retired thinking the hard homework was behind me.

Unassisted Living is the site I wished I'd had. The name is a small joke with a serious point: this isn't assisted living. We're independent, capable, and managing our own health and homes — we just deserve straight answers while we do it.
