Who we are
Unassisted Living, LLC (“Unassisted Living,” “we,” “us,” “our”) is an editorial wellness publication founded by Kathy Morris. This policy explains how we handle information when you visit our website or subscribe to our newsletter.
What we collect
- Your email address, but only if you choose to subscribe to our newsletter. We ask for nothing else to sign up.
- Basic, non-identifying usage data. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (for example, the page requested and a general region), and we may use a privacy-friendly analytics tool to understand which articles are helpful. Where we use analytics, we choose tools that do not build advertising profiles about you.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive information, and we never ask you to tell us about your health to read our work.
How we use it
- To send you the newsletter you asked for, and to let you unsubscribe at any time.
- To understand, in aggregate, what’s useful so we can write more of it.
What we don’t do
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We don’t share your email with advertisers. When you click an affiliate link and visit a retailer, that retailer’s own privacy policy then applies — see our Disclosures.
Service providers
We rely on a few trusted companies to operate the site and newsletter — for example, our website host and our email delivery provider. They process information only to provide their service to us.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe any time using the link at the bottom of any newsletter.
- Ask us to access or delete the information we hold about you.
Children
Unassisted Living is written for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we update this policy, we’ll change the date at the top. For meaningful changes, we’ll do our best to let newsletter subscribers know.
